Seeing the fact that it is now normal for most blockbuster titles to include an option for a Season Pass, it's no surprise that Gears of War: Judgment will have one. The "VIP Season Pass" will be available at launch and will score you:
-Two upcoming Game Add-on Packs that will include six multiplayer maps, two new modes, as well as new armor and weapon skins.
-Early access to Game Add-on multiplayer maps so you can be among the first to play them.
-Five exclusive weapon skins and four exclusive armor skins
-Permanent double XP during your journey throughout the game
All this will cost you 1600 Microsoft points ($20.00), and is a 20% discount compared to buying the two content packs individually.
In addition to the VIP Season Pass, another piece of DLC was announced. Epic and PCF has partnered with Maxim, and they will be providing a FREE promotional post-launch map pack that will include two brand new maps called Capitol and Haven. They also revealed that in addition to the two maps, the fan favorite game mode Execution will be making a return. Unlike the other game types in Judgment, in Execution, once a player has taken enough damage that would normally kill them, they fall into a down-but-not-out stage (DBNO). In this stage, they rapidly tap A in order to get back up, or suffer a brutal execution from the enemy and will have to wait until the round is over to respawn again.
